On Sunday 28th July, Strata participated in a charity football match hosted by @Genco, raising funds for @The Heart of Kent Hospice at the Gallagher Stadium in Maidstone.
Strata was proudly represented by nine of our very best footballers; Stuart Cherrison, Jamie Marks, James Dring, Nathan Jarrett, Ben Cherrison, Danny Rook, and Henry Cherrison, led by David Richardson the team captain with James Rook in reserve.
Stratalona played six games in the hot morning sunshine with Danny Rook emerging as our top goal scorer, being fed goal opportunities by brothers Ben and Henry. It was a enjoyable morning for both players and the supporters, but next time some pre match training may need to be adopted!
While the team was not victorious, we were immensely proud of their efforts and honoured to have contributed to such a significant event, raising essential funds for a noble cause!
