Yesterday, the Strata team came together to celebrate not only Shrove Tuesday, but also Lunar New Year, marking a fresh start in the lunar calendar and a time recognised across cultures for renewal, connection and good fortune.🏮
To honour the occasion, staff at Strata received red envelopes – known as hóngbāo (Mandarin), or lai see (Cantonese) – symbolising good wishes, luck, and prosperity for the year ahead. Inside, they received a gift along with a message reinforcing our CARE values at Strata: Customer Service, Aptitude, Respect, and Energy – values our team consistently strive toward.
We also enjoyed flipping and eating pancakes, as well as creating a Fortune Wall, where staff got involved by pinning their wishes for the year ahead, personal goals, and notes of gratitude. This collaborative activity encouraged reflection, positivity, and connection – all in the spirit of the celebration. ✨
It was great to see the team engaging with traditions, coming together as a business, and taking a moment to reflect as we look ahead to the year to come.
