This week, Strata FM France SARL are busy working nights in Rue Saint-Honoré and Galeries Lafayette, Paris, repairing multiple fire doors.
Working for a global luxury fashion brand in their European store locations, our expert team are working hard to complete the repairs out of hours, ensuring that we avoid any disruption to store operations.
Our experienced engineers’ report identified that specialist bespoke concealed door closers were leaking oil, top pivot brackets were misaligned and that there was movement from floor plate fixings – all leading to doors that did not operate to the smooth, silent and usual high standard expected. Our rectification works included:
🚪 Replacement of FritsJurgens pivot closers.
🚪 Top pivot reinstatement and realignment.
🚪 Bespoke flat plate packers with additional superior fixings.
🚪 Door frame removal for additional strengthening to full opening, including head.
As part of the preparation for this project FritsJurgens invited our team to their manufacturing facility in Holland to review installation methods, which our team found incredibly useful.
Thank you to FritsJurgens for hosting.
Things are looking good – well done team!
