Project Description
Strata were successful in securing a fire stopping and fire door repair project at the Serpentine South Gallery in Hyde Park.
Built in the 1930s, the Grade II listed property was formerly used as a Teahouse until 1970, when it was converted into a gallery.
The Serpentine Gallery has presented a wide range of exhibitions in its 50-year history, displaying a wide range of contemporary art from emerging practitioners, to internationally recognised artists.
During the five week project, works commenced within the Basement, Gallery and office space within the Gallery and the Magazine.
Our team have exceeded the client’s requirements using excellent communication lines and taking the time each morning to meet the client before works commence to review progress, quality, and coordinate around any daily gallery activities.
The Strata team ensured that there was no disruption to the office staff, press and the public who attend the galleries
daily.
